焦る

彼女：気分転換に今から美容室でcolorしてきまぁーすっ
彼：もしかしたら・・・金髪？
彼女：絶対イヤやっ。。。金髪がすきなん？
彼：ただの悪戯です。
彼女：あせったぁー笑

A text message conversation:

Girl: For a change of mood I'm off to get my hair colored.
Boy: Would that be by any chance... blonde?
Girl: No way! ... You don't like blonde, do you?
Boy: I was just teasing.
Girl: You had me worried!

焦 - SHO - ko・gareru / ase・ru　- to be impatient

焦がれる means to pine or yearn for... Today's word 焦る (aseru) means to be in too much of a hurry, to fret or to be anxious.

So "haste makes waste" = 焦ると損をする。　（あせるとそんをする）
